- Handful of Fresh or Frozen Berries
- Splash of Pineapple Juice
- 3 oz Black Cranberry Juice
- Top with Ginger Ale
- Garnish with an Orange Slice

The Blackberry Sangria is special to everyone at Grandaddy Mimm’s. It was our first, and… well, you never forget your first.
This drink will always remind us of opening week at the Wellborn St. location in downtown Blairsville. Heather, basically everyone’s favorite bartenders - sorry Dave, came up with this drink to promote the newly-released Mimm’s Blackberry Moonshine.
We had moved and needed a drink special, and she invented the Grandaddy Mimm’s Blackberry Sangria - it was officially our first drink special in our new home.
Ever since, we’ve cycled through all types of drinks, so this drink special coming back around makes us all a bit nostalgic. Don’t be surprised if when you order one, our bartenders pour one for themselves to relive all the magic of our opening weekend.
Plus, it’s pretty damn good and we’re gonna be jealous of yours.
You know those long shifts at work when you need a pick-me-up… Sangria delivers.
The best part about the Mimm’s Blackberry Sangria is that, at the end of the night, our team always puts all the extra fruit from the bar in a jar and one of us takes it home. Maybe you've had a job with good perks… (Now that April is here we wouldn’t be mad to meet a customer who had a Braves ticket hook-up.)
We understand that most bars have leftover food and drink they have to pass off to someone and employees often come away the big winners. There are lots of things you could leave work with… a couple of them are probably stress, a paycheck you wouldn’t mind putting the comma somewhere else, and in our case a fight cause when it’s time to pick who gets the sangria… the gloves are coming off.
All that said, this sangria hits about as hard as our bartenders fighting over who gets to take it home 💪
