Grandaddy Mimm's Distilling Co., in partnership with the Blairsville DDA, will be hosting three Redneck Market Nights this summer. The goal of these events are to have mini markets within the downtown to promote local vendors and their businesses! When choosing Friday nights, we hoped to avoid any competition with the Farmers Market and to give locals and guests a reason to stay downtown later.
We plan to create a festival-like atmosphere to draw people down to Wellborn Street to enjoy the fun! We will have music, food, vendors, and MORE!

We understand the heritage of this beautiful place we call “home”. For generations our family has talked about the good ole days and what it means to be Appalachian (Make sure you say it right, too).
Saturday, July 5th, Grandaddy Mimm’s, the Blairsville DDA and Union County Chamber of Commerce are throwing a shindig and we want YOU there. It’s not just a night of food, music and moonshine. It’s a day of embracing our area, cultivating front porch sittin’ relationships, coming together to celebrate who we are and where we came from. The goal is to gather ‘round, put the dang phones down and just enjoy each other's company. Just like how generations before us did.
If that doesn’t sound like something you’d be interested in, we hope you beat your high score on Candy Crush, or whatever the youngins are playing nowadays. For those of you that feel as passionately as we do about our area, we’ve got more details below and we hope to see ya there. Remember, it ain’t about making a buck. It’s about showing up for our town. In a way that would make our ancestors proud.
