It ain’t all moonshine all the time, y’all.

R.M. Rose in Dillard, GA
R.M. Rose is the oldest registered distillery in GA and has been distilling whiskey and bourbon since the 1800s. It started when Rufus Rose began organizing wholesale whiskey shipments in Atlanta in 1867. The distillery we visit today opened in 2010 in his honor.
Their new Sticky Pete Peanut Butter Whiskey is unlike anything we’ve ever tasted… we recommend you grab a bottle to take home.
We love R.M. Rose - and Tommy always gets their Fire on the Mountain Cinnamon Whiskey.
Hiawassee Brew in Hiawassee, GA
Hiawassee Brew is servin’ up local brews and wines from around North Georgia - not to mention they have an on-site food truck so you’re not drinking on an empty stomach.
This is the spot to hit after a long day.
They’ve got games, darts, and live music so y’all can kick back and stay awhile.
Our favorite thing is their seasonal Strawberry Cider.
Crane Creek Vineyards in Young Harris, GA
Crane Creek owner Eric Seifarth was stationed in Northern Italy as a young army officer where he realized that Americans often have an intimidated attitude towards wine. He and his wife bring the casual, laidback Italian approach to wine to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
We like to head up on Fridays for their Aperitivo to grab a glass and a plate of food and catch their live music while the sun sets over the mountain.
Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge, GA
One of the best parts about a trip to Blue Ridge is filling up a cart at Mercier Orchards with every apple-flavored thing you can think of.
The key thing to grab, in our opinion, is their hard cider. They’ve got dry as a bone, sweet like a honeycrisp apple, and everywhere in between. Make sure to stock up when fall hits so you can drink yours at home by the fire.
Currahee Brewing in Clayton, GA
Currahee’s Clayton location is their third brewery around North Georgia. This spot is right in the heart of downtown in an old renovated auto shop. Their covered porch is what dreams are made of…
Lounge on the porch swings, take in the mountains views, and find you a perfect beer - they’ve got something for every palate.
Paradise Hills Winery in Blairsville, GA
Come to stay the night in a luxury cabin or sip in the tasting room for an evening. Paradise Hills is right in our backyard and offers a relaxing environment to escape from the busyness of life.
Our favorite wine from Paradise Hills is a red wine aged in French oak and finished in Jack Daniels Old #7 whiskey barrels.
Course, if moonshine is what you’re looking for…well, we’re the only ones around.
Come taste our legendary recipe born right here in these mountains. We’re always here for ya…except on Sundays.
